We are pleased to offer our warm welcome to the 10th Asia-Australia Colloquium on Qualitative Research Methods in Business and Accounting.

Hosted jointly by ESSEC Business School Asia-Pacific Campus, Singapore, and RMIT University, Melbourne, the Colloquium provides two days of focused lectures and workshops on qualitative research methods in business and accounting.

The Colloquium is convened and delivered by Distinguished Professor Lee Parker (RMIT University and University of Glasgow) and selected international research professors each with a high profile in qualitative research in business and accounting. Since 2008 Professor Parker has annually convened the Colloquium in Australia and Europe to great acclaim. The year 2019 will be the inaugural Asia region offering being delivered in Singapore and it will be a significant response to the region’s growing interest in qualitative research approaches to the most interesting and challenging issues in business and accounting.

The colloquium covers a wide variety of qualitative research methodologies and includes both formal presentations from professorial leaders as well as interactive forums and exercises engaging all participants. It covers selected leading-edge developments in the qualitative methodological tradition and targets a colloquium size of 50-60 scholars who typically are early-career researchers, doctoral candidates, senior academics or consultants in industry - all looking to expand their competencies and publication successes in applying qualitative research methodologies.

Looking forward to your active participation in the Colloquium in Singapore!
